Svetlana Klessova has 30 years of experience in international science, technology and innovation collaboration. She has coordinated 15 large scale EC-funded projects focusing on innovation, entrepreneurship and international research and innovation collaboration, under FP6, FP7, Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe, both Research and Innovation actions and Coordination and Support Actions. She has also served as team leader or project director of several large international service contracts for the EC. She has contributed to international projects across the European Union, the United States, Indo-Pacific, ASEAN, Latin America and the Caribbean, the Mediterranean region and beyond, having held leading roles in over 60 projects worldwide. She has worked with policymakers to create environments that foster innovation across Europe and beyond. She holds a PhD in innovation management.
