Where ideas meet action for human-centred, sustainable, and resilient urban, peri-urban and rural futures.
Prof. Giannis Adamos from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), Greece leads Resilient Futures, along with the co-leader of the group, Mr. András Merza, Regional Centre for Information and Scientific Development (RCISD), Hungary and a core team of professionals from diverse backgrounds. We aim to foster a dynamic international community that collaborates on:
- Human-centered, socially just, environmentally safe and innovative urban, peri-urban and rural planning.
- Resilience building by developing strategies for disaster risk management and adaptation to extreme events.
- Sustainable mobility by advancing intelligent transportation systems and mobility innovations.
- Community engagement by encouraging participatory approaches and behavioural change for sustainable living.
- Policy development by informing and shaping policies that support resilient and equitable development across territorial contexts.
